Week of July 14 – July 21

This week we were finishing up the training on the StyleGAN2 network and putting together our 5 minute video and final presentation. We were able to knock out the scripts for the videos early on in the week, which allowed Ethan to record the 5 minute sales pitch video for the project. In the next week we are going to practice going over the presentation and the beats that we want to cover, the good the bad and the ugly of the entire research project.

The amount of information that I learned on Generative Adversarial Networks is truly an experience that I would never change for anything. Getting the ability to dedicate multiple months to a single project and see it from design to implementation has been a rewarding and exciting experience. When we first started the project and a GAN was pitched, I had little experience with the concept and even less experience in practice, but over the past 4 months I have had the pleasure to create a StyleGAN2 and StyleGAN-T networks. For the purpose of the research project, the StyleGAN-T network is the one we decided to go with.

In the upcoming week we are going to finish the script for the project and practice the presentation. We are planning on having the 10 minute video done no later than Wednesday and be prepared to present either Wednesday or Thursday.

Thank you for joining me in this incredible journey

I cant wait to see what comes next

We have presented our final project to our professor and I personally think it went very well. I will attach the video below which was edited by Ethan Stanks.
